Weddings at St. John's-Grace

If you are looking for a church setting for your wedding that conveys the beauty and sanctity of the occasion, you may wish to consider St. John's-Grace. We are dedicated to honoring, supporting and blessing quality relationships, and would be pleased to participate in this important event with you. You can call to make an appointment with our rector, The Rev. Philip W. Dougharty, to get acquainted, to get some background, and to talk about your needs for your service. We realize that people come to us from a wide range of backgrounds, denominations, etc., and we made the decision some years ago that "we try very hard to say Yes."

St. John's-Grace does not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation in celebrating the sacrament of marriage.

Wedding Fees

Use of the church for wedding and rehearsal (for non-members) $ 1,200.00
Organist $ 150.00
Altar Guild $ 50.00

Contact the church office at (716) 885-1112 or rector@stjohnsgrace.com for further details.

The honorarium for the minister is not included in these figures. It is customarily provided by the groom.

You may also rent the parish hall for your reception.

Since the service is one of solemn worship, no flash photographs may be taken in the sanctuary during the service. Photos may be taken from the rear of the church during the service.

Throwing of rice is not permitted, but bird seed or rose petals work just as well.
